Resilience
The Sustainability Summit is an initiative in service of advancing ASEAN's economic resilience and sustainable development. Through this platform, the promotion of environmental, social, and governance (ESG) integration and circular economy models will be conducted for climate-resilient, private sector-led growth across the region.
This initiative consists of a series of resilient growth roundtables, followed by the Sustainability Forum which seeks to convene leaders across business, government and civil society to discuss strategies for sustainable economic growth and environmental stewardship.
The culminating event is the dialogue platform, Unlocking Capital for Sustainability 2026 with Eco-Business, that will unite leaders from the finance, private, public, and academic sector to pinpoint areas of investments in sustainable initiatives and mobilize capital in environmental sustainability.
Strategic Objectives
Core action areas include:
Promoting the adoption of ESG standards in business practices, across industries
Scaling circular economy approaches to address waste reduction and create new opportunities for innovation
Advocating initiatives that directly address climate and environmental challenges for businesses and economies
Mobilizing investment flows and financing mechanisms for MSMEs to participate in green transition and sustainable development efforts
