Supply Chain
As ASEAN's economy continues to grow and advance, addressing the challenges that hinder efficiency has become a priority for the region. It is with the recognition of such, that the ASEAN-BAC has named strengthening supply chains as its top economic deliverable.
Thus, ASEAN-BAC Philippines' primary goal program initiative is the White Policy Paper on Strengthening Trade and Investment Linkages, which is set to address the operational challenges hindering faster goods movement and investment flows.
The White Policy Paper will be guided by four key concerns: how trade is secured, how it is facilitated, how it can be expanded, and how it is made more sustainable.
Strategic Objectives
Through this, the White Policy paper would provide:
Consolidated research materials, studies, and policy references from PIDS into a coherent foundation
Key insights, concerns, and proposals raised during meetings to discuss solutions
Several roundtable discussions will be held to explore the reforms for strengthening trade integrity and supply chain resilience. This is done and conducted in collaboration with knowledge partners, who will provide relevant time data (RTD), and program partners, who will mobilize private-sector participation, to best paint the situation in the region.
