Miguel Lopez
Development consultant and youth entrepreneurship advocate with international work across ASEAN and other emerging regions.
Miguel Lopez is a development consultant and youth entrepreneurship advocate with experience spanning emerging and developing regions worldwide, including ASEAN, EuroAsia, the Middle East, Eastern Caribbean, and the USA.
He has held positions as International Consultant for the International Trade Centre (ITC), Trade Expo Consultant for the Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS), Communications Consultant for the Center for International Private Enterprise (CIPE), and Consultant for the Philippine Organizing Committee for Expo 2020 Dubai.
He also previously served as Youth Entrepreneurship Expert for ARISE Plus Philippines (EU/ITC) and as a Member of the ASEAN Youth Advisory Group for the ASEAN Digital Literacy Programme.
His passion for MSME development began in 2017 as Programs Development Officer at the Philippine Center for Entrepreneurship (Go Negosyo), where he spearheaded Mentor Me On Wheels (MMOW), the country's largest free mentorship program for MSMEs and aspiring entrepreneurs.
Beyond his professional work, Miguel co-founded and served as President of The 2030 Project, a youth-led non-profit building a network of young leaders aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
