Bio note

Junie Del Mundo

A champion of the Philippine creative economy, strategic communications, stakeholder engagement, and nation-building.

Junie del Mundo embodies the ideals sought in a private-sector representative for the Creative Services Domain of the Philippine Creative Industries Development Council. His career is a rare blend of public service, diplomacy, entrepreneurial leadership, policy advocacy, and passion for Filipino creativity.

Starting with a distinguished career in the Department of Foreign Affairs, Junie gained expertise in diplomacy, international negotiations, and event management. Inspired to strengthen the Philippines voice, he founded EON The Stakeholder Relations Group in 1998, pioneering a new model of strategic communications and stakeholder engagement.

Over the next 25 years, he grew EON from a start-up to a multi-disciplinary communications powerhouse, guiding campaigns for global brands, national institutions, and non-profit causes. EON's long list of awards, including PR Agency of the Year, Gold Anvil, and Quill Awards, attests to his mastery of advertising, marketing, and integrated communications.

Beyond corporate achievements, Junie has shaped national and international policy initiatives. As National Organizing Committee Director for the 1996 APEC Summit and Deputy Secretary General for the 1987 ASEAN Summit, he orchestrated events that positioned the Philippines on the global stage.

Junie serves as a Trustee of the Cultural Center of the Philippines, where he supports programs that uplift Filipino artists and artisans. His stewardship of creative festivals, from the 2017 ASEAN Summit to cultural exhibitions, showcases his talent for marketing and promoting Filipino creativity to the world.

With over 25 years of leadership in the creative services domain, an impeccable record of public- and private-sector achievements, endorsements from industry peers, and a lifelong commitment to nation-building and ethical practice, he is exceptionally well-qualified to serve as private-sector representative for the Creative Services Domain of the Philippine Creative Industries Development Council.
